As a wedding supplier, it’s pretty heartbreaking to read that as an opening line. All we ever want to do is help couples live their dream wedding - and it feels like a kick in the balls when that can’t happen.

My pity party lasted a matter of seconds however - fresh off a call with Charlie & Tom and it was abundantly clear this was never going to be a “compromise” wedding. They were absolutely pulling out the stops - big time.

Just for one day, a small corner of Coleshill was being converted into prime Italy. They picked the absolutely stunning Shustoke Barn as their backdrop, with Italian influence & flair as far as the eye could see. The only giveaway that we weren’t in Italy was the Brummie accent from the waiting staff.

Love comes in all different shapes and sizes, and as soon as you’re in earshot of Charlie or Tom, theirs was instantly visible. Throughout prep, their sole interest was making sure each other was feeling okay, and climbing the walls with excitement at seeing each other down the aisle. Those tears disappeared in an instant as soon as they saw each other, and were replaced with the biggest beaming smiles you’ve ever seen.

The day itself was everything you could dream about for a wedding; love, laughter, and an endless flow of Limoncello. Italy or not, Charlie & Tom started their journey of married life with the most incredible day.
